Mammalina’s actively works to support both local and national charities and we pride ourselves in raising awareness for a variety of good causes. We are passionate about helping the community wherever and however we can.
Our annual MS luncheon has become a highlight of our fundraising calendar. Jacquie Brown, a long-time patron at the restaurant, in conjunction with Sam, Jim and Jake has worked to create this fun-filled event.
Jacquie, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2005, has hosted an annual fund-raiser for MS Australia for the past four years. In 2012 she was amazed by the generosity of the owners of Mammalina’s who offered to host her charity lunch for free.
The “Jacquie & Friends” luncheon brings friends and family together at the restaurant to raise money for MS. Each year, the event continues to grow with more and more supporters coming on board to contribute and lend a hand, making each year bigger than before.
In addition to the MS Luncheon, we also work to support a number of other charities including the Children’s Cancer Centre Foundation (CCCF) and Disability Sport and Recreation.
